What cookies we use

We use three categories of cookies, all first-party (set by buycheckai.com):

• Session identifier. A strictly necessary cookie that allows the same browser to see its own watch list and recent searches on return visits, without requiring you to sign in. This cookie does not track you across other websites.
• Authentication token. Set after you sign in. Keeps you logged in and associates your saved history, tasks, and preferences with your account. Without this cookie the sign-in feature cannot function.
• Session refresh token. Works alongside the authentication token to extend your signed-in session without requiring you to re-enter your credentials.

The cookies we set directly on buycheckai.com are strictly necessary to operate the Service. With your consent, we also allow certain trusted third-party services (described below) to set their own cookies for analytics and affiliate-link attribution. You can withdraw consent at any time and we will stop loading those services on subsequent page views.

Consent

The cookies BuyCheck AI sets directly are strictly necessary to provide the Service and do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive’s strictly-necessary exemption.

For non-essential third-party services (analytics, affiliate-link attribution) we display a consent banner on your first visit and only load those services if you explicitly grant consent. Your choice is recorded in a small first-party cookie so the banner does not reappear on every page view.

Third-party services

The Service works with third-party providers that may operate their own cookies when you interact with their services, including:

• Page-view analytics. We use a privacy-preserving analytics service to count page views in aggregate. No personal information is transmitted, and this service only runs after you have granted consent via our banner.
• Error monitoring. When an error occurs, a diagnostic token may be transmitted to our error-monitoring service. This helps us fix bugs. No browsing history or personal information outside of the error context is shared.
• Affiliate-link attribution. With your consent, we load a third-party script that adds attribution parameters to outbound links to participating retailers. If you click such a link and complete a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission — this is what funds the Service. The script sets third-party cookies for attribution purposes; declining consent disables it entirely.
• Retailer affiliate networks.When you click through to a retailer from BuyCheck AI, that retailer’s website operates under its own cookie policy. We recommend reviewing the retailer’s privacy notice before completing a purchase.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser’s settings. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent the Service from working normally: your watch list will not persist between visits, you will not be able to stay signed in, and your scheduled tasks and reminders will not be saved.

Deleting cookies from your browser will log you out and clear your anonymous session. Your saved account data (watch list, history, tasks) will still be stored and will reappear when you sign in again.
